Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place an order?

Until we get our automated, on-line order form up and running, please email your order to us at info@plumrichbeef.com  You will recieve a confirmation email in return on the Saturday before your planned pickup.  More details are located under our products and pricing tab.

How do I pay for my order?

For all in-stock orders, we will take check or cash when you come for pick-up on Sunday afternoon, or you can pay online via PayPal.  Our user name is info@plumrichbeef.com

We can now accept credit card payments at pickup!!! But, please note that there will be an additional 2.75% credit card fee added to your total.

For all orders that require processing (1/2s and 1/4s) we ask that you place a deposit of half the total.   .

What if I am unable to be at the pickup spot?

In most situations, you will need to wait until pickup the following week to get your product.  You can always send someone else to pick up your order, but just be sure to notify us ahead of time so that we don't give your beef away to the wrong person!

How long does it take to receive my order?

All ground beef and other in-stock orders will be available the Sunday following your order.  For all other orders that require processing, you will be contacted via email on when your order will be ready for pick-up.

Are the cows treated humanely?

All of the cows are treated with dignity and respect from birth to butcher.  They roam free on beautiful Oklahoma soil until they are placed in a large pen to be gently put into a trailer and driven to the processor.  For any other questions regarding the butchering process, email us at info@plumrichbeef.com

What does "grass-finished" mean?

Grass-finished means that the cows are given grass only from the time they are weaned until they are processed.  The rancher does not use corn, oats, or grain to fatten the cows.  Not only does this keep the cattle from gaining too much weight too quickly and stressing their systems, it provides you with the leanest, most nutritious meat possible.

Are all of your products certified and inspected?

Yes.  All of our meat is processed at a state certified processing facility in Enid, Oklahoma.  Each package has a state inspection seal and mandatory safe handling instructions so that you can be confident that our product meets the strictest safety standards. Feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns.
